During the Non-Surgical Nose Job procedure Dr. Zadeh administers a series of small injections of JUVÉDERM® Ultra Plus XC filler into very precise locations throughout the nose. JUVÉDERM® Ultra Plus XC is made of hyaluronic acid which is a naturally occurring sugar found in the human body. The role of hyaluronic acid in the skin is to deliver nutrients, hydrate the skin by holding in water, and to act as a cushioning agent adding volume to the skin. This masks the bumps in the nose and straightens the profile. A droopy tip can be raised, and deformities contoured to make a crooked nose look straighter. The nose blends in, is less noticeable and therefore looks smaller. An advantage of JUVÉDERM® Ultra Plus XC which Dr. Zadeh uses, is that it contains the local anesthetic lidocaine to provide patients with a more comfortable injection experience. The lidocaine numbs the injection site within seconds, eliminating the need for additional anesthetic injections and thus reducing the overall time of the treatment. The entire procedure takes about 15-20 minutes with virtually little or no pain, bruising or swelling. Results are instantaneous, and you will be able to return to your normal activities immediately after the procedure.  A follow up visit with Dr. Zadeh is scheduled approximately three weeks after the initial procedure to evaluate the results of the treatment.
