Dr. Cary Schneebaum received his BS degree in Biology from University of Pennsylvania. He attended medical school at the State University of New York Healtlh Science Center in Syracuse, NY (Upstate Medical School). He completed his Internal Medicine residency and Gastroenterology training at Beth Israel Medical Center in NYC. He has been a practicing gastroenterologist since 1983. He featured in the New York Times Magazine “Top Doctors”, 2009. He is also listed as a “Top Doctor” in Castle and Connolly.
He is President and practicing partner at Union Square Gastroenterology, P.C. in New York City. Dr. Schneebaum is also an Assistant Attending in the Department of Medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center. He is also a founding partner at East Side Endoscopy, LLC, an ambulatory surgical center in New York, NY.
Dr. Schneebaum’s clinical areas of interest and expertise include: colonoscopy, endoscopy and acid reflux disorders.
